-Mr. Clifton, the New Zealand Commissioner, concluded a brilliant address by. saying: "I hope your great President will find Mine way of bringing the wait ring nations to their senses befor 0 this great Exposition closes, and that its last days will be marked by a conference that will mean an honorable and lasting peace."
