Cecil George "Farrow appeared at the Lyttelton Court charged with the theft of £093 15s 9d from the Lyttelton Borough Council and was remanded till March 18. Bail was allowed, self £3OO and two others of £IOO. MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS. Wellington, March 10. In the Magistrate's Court, Ernest Alfred Welch, an ex, Civil servant, pleaded guilty to five charges of misappropriation of public moneys, and was committed for sentence.
