FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, The following is iir. Bates' weather forecast:—
Present indications are for northerly and westerly winds, increasingly strong to a heavy gale, especially in and southwards of Cook tile barometer falling everywhere soon. The weather is likely to become much warmer for a short period in the "East Coast districts, but stonnv conditions are expected to iollow,. with rain generally, and heavy rain mid flooded rivers in the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island.
