(j J>oiid, the chairman of tile committee, the 'best thanks of the conference were presented' to .Mr. Veal,, for his able services during tlie past five years, lie voiced the great obligation of the confeience to Air. Veale for his services, and sincere reirret that he has found it necessary to resign. Tlie liev. <J. L'ond was nnanimously appointed general treasurer of the fund, and Mr. J, Vealc honorary treasurer. In further dealing with the extension of the, term of ministerial appointments, tiirn l!ev. C. If. Laws moved, 'That the majority required to carry such anpointnients in conference he reduced' to ."> per cent." This was carried by 1-tl to 4. A special Committee of Complaints and Appeal.-, was set up to deal with nil urgent case, of .discipline.
