WAITARA DEFEATS NEW PLYMOUTH. A toain of New Plymouth ladies journeyed to Waitara yesterday afternoon, and played an enjoyable game with the ladies of the river port. There was not time to complete all the singles, hut the match resulted in an easy win for Waitara by a substantial margin in both singles and doubles. The New Plymouth ladies speak in high praise of the hospitality extended to them by the Waitara team. A return match will be played in New Plymouth shortly.
