A MOTHER STABBED.
DAUGHTER CHARGED WITH ASSAULT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, March 3. A young woman named Ellen Sullivan was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-day with assaulting her mother, Mary McCulley, so as to cause her actual bodily harm. The case arose out of a quarrel between the mother and daughter, when it is alleged Sullivan inflicted a wound with a 'knife in the back of MeCulley's neck. MeCulley, who is 68 years of age, is in hospital, suffering from shock and loss of blood, but her condition is not serious. The accused was remanded for a week.
