The attendance was larga, and the sum of £0938 was-put through the machine, as against £7396 for the second day Jast year, making £19,347 for the meeting, an increase of £5L r >l over last year. The following are the results of the racing:—• SETTLERS' HANDICAP; one and a half, miles.—Lockwood, 1; Silverlocks, 2; The Chief, 3, Won by four lengths, with two lengths between second and third.
