A PRESENTATION BAT. Mr A. S. Basel], of New Plymouth, generously donated a bat to the Norii Taranaki representative team, to be awarded to the player that gave the ieam, the best all-round assistance in the Hawkc Cup match. The decision was referred to Rev. Osborne and Messrs. Cave (3) of Wanganui, and they awarded the bat to H. H. McUic, of the United Service team, who put up the fine score of 72 in the second innings, thereby obtaining top tally for any batsman in either team during the match.
