TN pursuance ind exercise of the powers vcsvJd in it by Section 16 of the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Hoani Road Special Rating Area, in the County of Taranaki, hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers of the said special rating area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said special rating area is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who do not consent, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: That for the purpose of forming, culverting, grading and metalling the Hoani Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby authorises the raising of a special loan of £OSO at 4% per cent, per annum for a period of, thirty-six and a-half years, and declares that the cost ot raising the said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out ■ of the moneys so raised.
