A TRUE SPOUT. j Wangarmi, February 25. I At tile May meeting of the Wanganui ] Jockey Club Mr. James Bull, junr., won the r'uvua Hack Handicap with Master Lupin.' Some time afterwards the owner of the second horse (.Square ]\>al) entered a protest on the grounds that Master Lupin, having won u lady's bracelet vn- • lued at £.45, was ineligible to start as a hack, but the protest was disallowed, owing to the b.pse of time. Mr. Bull, on realising that he had wrongly obtained the stakes ( £00) told his friends he would hand the money to a charitable object when he made the next good win Master Lupin to-day Von the Wanganui Cup, and Mr. Bull'handed the .£!)() to the Jockey Club to be devoted to the Belgian Relief Fund.
