BESTIALITY AND BRUTALITY.
ALLEGED AGAINST A FATHER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invereargill, Last Night. At the Gore Magistrate's Court, John Duncan, of Gibbston, was charged with incest on one of his daughters, and with attempted incest on another. The accused was committed for trial. He is alleged to have tied ; :is daughter up by her hands, with her toes just touching the ground, letting her remain in that position for half an hour.
