The present indications are for strong easterly to northerly .winds northwards of East Cape and Kawhia, and high northerly, changing to west to south elsewhere shortly; cloudy, misty, and unsettled weather, with rain, is probable generally. The barometer has a further falling tendency, but is due to rise everywhere soon.
