THE CASE ADJOURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, last night. The charing of the Hawke's Bay election petition was resumes this morning when it was announced that it had besn agreed to state a case for the Appeal Court as to the validity of people on the roll, but residing outside the district, having- a vote. Mr Skerrett then closed his case.

Sir John Findlay tlien applied for and was granted permission to have a scrutiny of all informal votes not scrutinised as the.result of the application of petitioner. Tlie case was adjourned to Wellington on April 14.
