■THE HAYY'KE CUP. WANGANUT DEFRATS THE CHALLENGERS. Wauganui, February 24. Wanganui defeated North Taranaki in the Hawke Cup match by an innings and 40 runs. .The visitors, with two wickets down for 42, resumed their second innings this morning.
