EAST END BATHING RESERVE.
MEETIXO OF COMMITTEE. Tito weekly meeting of the East End fiathing Reserve Committee was hold in the Pavilion on Monday nitrlit. Mr. p. I'oulton presiding over an attendance sixteen members.

The inquiry into the alleged misbehaviour cif (vrtnin earnpors was h;ijournod until after the return of the chairman from Tiinani. The committee is determined to suppress any hooliganism what--'ver with n. firm hand Mr. Milne was deputed to judge the tug-of-war to he held on Easter Monilav.
The names of Messrs. C. Coleman anil ■C. "Newell wore added to the committee.
The matter of erecting a concrete hand platform was left in tlio hands of Messrs. C. Ttochuek and Fitzgerald to r..port to the next meeting. A baby show will also he held on ~"<ter jfonday for children under 12 months. For t' lo prize ; Mr. Colli" will take photographs of the winner up '•> the vaiue of -CI. The second prize hi. a gold hrooeh, valued at 10s. presented by Mr. .T. Ttoeh. There will he a married ladies' race, the first prize for which is to he a hag of flour. The second will be presented l,v Mr. Feck.
Tt was decided to award a handsome silver cup for squad competitions in physical drill on Easter Monday. The competition will h j ;. open to all schools in Tarnnaki, entrance being free.
The chairman welcomed several new members, and expressed the hope that they would not. only attend regularly at the meetings, but would also take their share in the big programme of work which is being undertaken by the committee.
The Pierrots, under Messrs. Smitli. Wakefield, and Key. will 1"' invited to fontrilmte their quota of musical melody and merriment to the proceedings on Kaster Monday.
