"SAX TOY." On Wednesday ovenin<* tlie 'Now Plymouth Operatic Society will produce, in tiie Theatre lto.val, for the lust time, this brilliant aiul sparkling opera. The Society liave been working very hard of iate. and intend that Wednesday's performance shall be equal to. if not better than, any of the previous production*. Iho society scored a great success av, Stratford, where they made their first appearance in "San Toy." ami in N>v.< Plymouth both nights crowded house?, greeted them and showed their appreciation l>v loud and continued applause. Tliat the societv possesses much genuine talent there admits of 110 doubt, and "San Toy" as presented in December last pxad.lv struck the public, taste bv its sparkle, scenic beantv, stirring music, and vivacious presentation.
