FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is Mr Bates' weather forecast:— Present indications are for unsettled cloudy and misty weather with rain probable generally. Moderate to strong and increasing northerly and easterly winds are likely to prevail, changing shortly to south-easterly in and southwards of Cook Straits. The barometer has a' falling tendency everywhere.
