A MASSACRE MRGED. attempt to stir up Moslems. AMERICAN AMBASSADOR INTERVENES;,
Received 22. 12.10 a.m. . Cairo, February 21. Certain Turkish authorities in Palestine have published pamphlets, urging the Moslems to stone non-Mos:ems to death. The German Ambassador at' /Washington has been informed of the danger, and lias telegraphed to his colleague at Constantinople. Thanks to the American iAmbassador's intervention, the Porte lias instructed the Jerusalem authorities to protect non-Moslems. Moreover, the disastrous defeat of the Turks at the Suez Canal has salutarily impressed the pamphleteers, who have relinquished the idea of a massacre.
