BURNED TO DEATH. " By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Gore, February 20, A well-known resident of Heriot in the person of Harry Boylen was found dead in a hut yesterday. A part of thefloor of the hut was burned, and also the lower portion of deceased's body. An inquest is to be held. ; ■ YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH.
Auckland, Last Night. A young woman, named Rida May Shepherd, 21 years of age, a resident of Ponsonbv, fell off lihe launch Haeramai in ißangitoto channel last night. Sb* was pulled aboard a few -minutes later in _a semi-conscious condition and suffering from hemorrhage. She was; taken honia and died a few -hours later.She ,'iad bpen in delicate health.
