ACCOUNTANCY.
STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION . FORMED. A meeting was held at Mr. Buxton's office last night with the object of forming an Accountancy Students' Society. A good number of students and others interested were present, with the result that a society was formed. It was decided to hold the first meeting at the Technical School on Wednesday, March 10th, at 8 p.m., the Director (Mr. A. Gray) having kindly granted the use of a room. The movement is one which should strongly appeal to all those interested in commercial pursuits. As the society will be. subsidised, no membership fees are rendered necessary. The executive extends a cordial invitation to all who are interested, and the lion, secretary Mr. Erie Shaw, will lie pleased to receive names of those desiring to become members. The following officers were appointed: President, Mr. Hugh Baily: executive, Messrs. V. Duff, Fawknov, and M. Armstrong; secretary, Mr. E, Shaw.
