SUMMARY "AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Per Press Wellington, Last Night. The following is Mr Bates' weather summary for the past twenty-four hours: The barometer has been very steady, and an extremely low pressure has ruled to the southward of the Dominion, strong west to south-westerly winds have predominated, and the weather has continued warm and fino on the east coast, but showery on the west coast and in southern districts. Forecast. —Present indications are for strong west to south-westerly winds, weather changeable, with scattered showers; barometer unsteady, falling slightly in the north, hilt probably rising everywhere soon.
