PLUMBERS' CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association,' , Dunedin, Last Night. At the .Plumbers' Oomeience this evening the following remits 1 were carried: — , Tihat Article 1. of the by-laws ibe amended so that the federation vice-presi-dent may reside in a district other than [- ' that in which;the federation executive lives; mat Article 4 be amended to provide a maximum of three delegates, ini eluding, the president, from oacli union; that when a plumber is registered as a proficient drainer by any responsible or approved local authority,. • sued certhcate shall be deemed sufficient •for all towns in the Dominion under the jurisdiction of the Plumbers' Board; | that tlie Plumbers Board be requested to j take measures to provide for a cersuch certificate shall be deemed sufficient to carry out and construct drainage. I -work; that the Plumbers' requested to insist on a universal examination for licensed drainers. THE MASTERTON SHOW. Masterton, Last Night. , The twenty-eighth annual show of the Masterton A. and P. Association opened to-day in fine weather, and wiflli si ,: large attendance. The show of fat stock" • was pronounced to be one of the finest , ever seen in the Dominion. The Championship Wheeler Shield, competed,,for under the auspices of the Romney Marsh Brcde,*' Association, was. won W. Perry, with W. Rayrior winning Mr Perry's silver medal.
