PROM SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. After steaming through a heavy southerly storm in the Tasman Sea for two and a half days, the Huddart-Parker-steamer Riverina, reached Auckland. harbour from Sydney at seven o'clock' this morning, over a day late. Passengers spoke of the voyage as one of theworst they had experienced. Captain T, Easson said he had never experienced. such a terrific storm on the Sydney--Auckland route. A first saloon 'passenger walking on the promenade deck, during the storm slipped and was thrown i against the rails, spraining his ankle and, : receiving slight injuries to .his head.
