SWIMMING.
A PROTEST LODGED. Napier, February 15. A protest has been lodged by the manager of the Canterbury swimming team against C. Nelson, winner of the mile championship on Saturday, on the ground that he continued to be employed as a professional after iiis reinstatement as an amateur.
