By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Invorcargill, February 12. The final wool sale of the season was held !ier e to-day, when 7947 bales were oil'ered and sold. Competition was very spirited and, compared with tne recent Christchurch sale, prices all round wore fully a penny ahead. Compared with the January sales in Invorcargill, prices were from a penny to twopence better. The president of the Woolbuyers" Association, Mr. Walter Hill, said the sale was the best which had taken place in New Zealand this season. The top price of the sale was 15y»d for four bales of crossbred hogget.
