Snowy Howie, a lighterman employed by Nelson .Bros,, was run over by a motor-car tlhis morning, and sustained internal injuries, which it is thought will prove fatal. DESPONDENT MAN SUICIDES. ; By Telegraph.—Per Press Association, Auckland, Last Night. A man named John Francis Holland, aged 37 years, who was boarding at a' house in Wolseley Avenue, Richmond, was found dead, having apparently hanged himself on the door of his bedroom. It appears that Holland has been out of work for some time, which rear dered him very despondent. _ ,
