FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An Antarctic low pressure developed :n the south dining- the night, and a 'heavy northwest gale with rain was ■experienced about Foveaux Strait, and squally conditions have ruled to-day in and south of Cook Strait. The barometer is very iow in the south, and present indications are for high westerly wind with cold and stonnv weather. Rain is probable. Generally, the barometer is unsteady, falling In tlie north, '•■ lit probably rising temporarily in the south.
