In the Supreme Court, Patrick Guiii. 10 vears old, charged with tlicft and nvson at Rawone, failed to appear though on hail in two sureties of £260 each, provided bv the prisoner's father, John- Gnnn. and his brother-in-law. William Robert O'Brien, of Auckland. Accused vanished before the case was called on Tuesday, and diligent search failed to reveal his whereabouts. The .lodge said lie was satisfied the suretic; had done evervthiug reasonable to ■;>rodm>e accused. Under the circumstances he would not estreat the re-er-anisnmv-, and inflict such serious loss unon them.
