TARANAKI SHOW.
The time for closing entries for the big autumn fixture is drawing near and ! consequently a large number are being received each day. There is every indication that this year's entries will far surpass those of previous shows and the •ommittee is at its wits end to provide the necessary accommodation. Several alterations have been made to the schedule which it will be well for exhibitors to note. ■
' For the championships ith sa been 'decided to allow all animals two years 1 or bver to compete, and in the draught j horse section, classes have been added j for mares over four years and geldings , over four years.
The schedule is now considered the most complete ever issued by the Soe'et.v. and should meet with tile approval of all.
' Exhibitors aro reminded that entries for all classes close ou Saturday next, 13th inst.
