FIRES.
HOTEL DAMAGED. By Telegraph—Per Press Association Westport, Last Night. An outbreak of fire occurred in the Grand Hotel this morning, resulting in damage to the major portion of the right wing of the hotel, including the new portion of the premises. The boarders escaped with slight loss. Insurances are: —Mrs Turnbull (licensee), £SOO oil effects in Atlas, and Nalir Bros, (owners), £SOO on the part of the building affected by the lire. If your property is not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Co., Ltd.. C'urric (Street; telephone 100. J. C. Spedding, district agent.
