CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
ALLEGED NEGLIGENCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Auckland, Last Night. As a result of the coroner's finding at 1 le inquest, Harry Joilmston was charged with manslaughter in the Police Court to day, it being alleged that it was due to his negligence that James Porter was Killed at Henderson on January" 26th. 11.e accident, in which Porter received tatal luiunes, occurred during the erection of a railway signal post. Accused reserved his defence; and, ■]> ending not guilty" was committed Joi trial. Bail was allowed as before.
