THE DERVISHERS.
SUCCESSFUL 'jWGLO-INDIAX OPERATIONS. Received 0, 10 30 p.m. , Ldndon, February 0. The Press Bureau, reports further successful operations against tjie Somaliland Dervishes. After tlie operations in November the Dervishes returned to Shimberbems, repaired their forts, and aided friendly tribes. A combined Indian contingent and camel constabulary ' attacked Dervishes on February 3rd and 4th, and after a desperate resistance captured the forts and eaves. Thirty-two.. Dervishes, including two headmen, wero killed. All the, forts and caves were destroyed, and the Dervishes evacuated the district. The Anglo-Indian casualties were three killed and ole.vc n wounded.
