WAIMATE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
ANNUAL SHOW. Late entries for the above Society's Show will be received up till 7 o'clonk this (Tuesday) evening. Intending exhibitors are requested to kindly forward their entries as early as possible, in order that the necessary routine work may be carried out before [he morning of the Show, and thus save a great ileal of time in having the exhibits arranged in ample time for the judges.
A lirst-clnss sports programme will be submitted, besides other attractions. The factory liorse and gig horse classes are filling up exceedingly well. Entries for these classes will be received on the grounds. ■A gift auction sale (in aid of the Belgians) of exhibits and other gifts which the public may wish to make, will take place during tin? evening. Anyone wishing to help this deserving cause will kindly notify the secretary. A competent committee has been set up to supply amusements during the evening, so the public can rely 011 every turn being amusing. The Manaia Municipal Brass Band will render a tirstelass programme of music during the afternoon and evening.
