The Grcymonth Star records the death of Mr William Fitzpatrick lit Brunnerton, at the age of 78 years. TTe was a native of County Gal way. Ireland, and was one of the pioneer miners of the Dominion, -bavin" arrived on the West Coast in ISISS. He left two sons and five daughters. Captain TT. B. Pelly, .who is in command of 11.M.5. Tiger, one of the ships that sent- the German warship Blucher to the bottom lately, was a junior lieutenant in H.M.S- Tauranga, when that ship was in commission in Australasian waters some years ago. j After leaving the Tauranga, Captain Pelly was appointed to Queen Victoria's yacht.
