The conflict rarely profits the. enemy, anil suits the Allies because they are better able to stand attrition. Paris, February 4. A communique stales: "Our artillery repulsed a strung attack on Notre Dame de Lorette and destroyed several blockhouses in the Albert region. We recaptured a positin,, momentarily held north of Massiges." A German aeroplane was brought down at Luneville. and the occupants captured.
