MR. STATHAM'S PROSPECTS GOOD. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. I Dunedin, February 4. There were fifteen informal votes »n the Dunedin Central election. The official scrutiny is now proceeding, and will probbaly be finished on Saturday, when it is expected the absent voters' and seamen's votes will have been counted. There are 230 of the former, and 54 of the latter. The rival parties appear to agree with the popular belief that the majority of the absent votes have been cast for Mr. Statham.
