ITALY'S ATTITUDE. WILL FIGHT IS APRIL. FOR TERRITORY AND LIBERTY. Received 2, 7.20 p.m. .Sydney, February 2. The Italian newspaper Oceania, published in Sydney, says:—"On the strength of private information from a person occupying a very high official position in Italy, we can declare that Italy will certainly take the field against ilustria in April. In fact, the first Kne, numbering a million and a quarter men, is already under arms. The source of our information leaves no possible douot as to its accuracy. It must he distinctly understood that Italy goes to war not altogether as the ally of England or France or Russia, but mostly for her own advantage, and the protection of her own rights. If she fails, she fails by herself. If she conquers, she conquers by herself, and will thus help the Allies. She strikes for her lost provinces in particular, and the maintenance of her political position in general. She also strikes for the liberty of Europe from Germanic tyranny, which would be fatal to those ideals of liberalism which Italy shares with all th# wesetm Powers."
