BEE KEEPING.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—A few weeks ago I gave yon some notes re a swarm and its results. - I have since received letters from all parts of Taranaki from my brother bee- ,' keepers, some as far as Otakeho, all asking for more notes. May I ask them why they do not send you notes of their experiences? Yesterday in New Plymouth was "wet and warm," a morn- t ing when bees usually work. However they did not work in my apiary. Did • you or anyone else note the decided fall of the temperature yesterday, last night and to-day? My bees have 'laid low" for the paßt 48 hours. Seems to mo that they know as much as Eev. Bates ■ of weather fame.—l am, etc. TAINUI. . Vogeltown, February 2, d.by'""w antin-RETAOIN ETAOINNH '
