Mr Pearce, denying knowledge of the wild rumour concerning* the death of a New Zealand trooper in Egypt, states (that all deaths in the Australasian . forces are immediately cabled to headquarters. The authorities have received 110 information of any such incident, whifch would certainly have been sent. New military regulations direct the internment of all enemv subjects aged IS to 50. Alien enemies are not permitted , to frequent hotels and places of amusement. The circulation of enemy newspapers is prohibited. The regulations generally will be enforced by more stringent measures.
