j SEAMAN DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association, Christchurch. Last Night. The b< Ay of Seaman Green, wl\o, whil,. wd vug on the strcmcr Wirral at Lyttelton on Tuesday last, was drowned through being dragged into the water by a rope which became entangled round the propeller, was recovered )a?t evening by four men in the lanneli Inn, who discovered the body floating near 7*o. 7 Wharf. At the inquest a verdict was returned in accordance -with evdnwo given that deceased met hw death through hein'g dragged overboard from the Wirral by a hawser, which had become entangled round the propeller.
