m\\ PLYMOUTH v. INGLEWOOD. Tlic New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club and the Jnglewood Bifle Olub had a keenly contested tnateb. at the RewaRowa range yesterday. The weather was good, though there was a. smoky 'haze, and some excellent scores were {>ut up by Riflemen T. Marett (OB) and }V. Bruce (93). The latter's score of *4 out of a possible 35 at 800 yards was i^li not,y meritoriou s- The 800, 900 and 100 a yards ranges were uspld, seven shots at each range. The New Plymouth team's shooting was the more uniform, and they scored a win by the good margin of 63 points. The vi'sito-s \ (-re entertained at afternoon tea by the New Plymouth Club.
