COMMODORE TYRWHITT.

Commodore R. Y. Tyrwhitt, who is captain of the Arethusa, and who is mentioned in connection with the North Sea action, was among the commanmngofficers mentioned in the fight in Heligoland Bay. [The Gazelle is a protected cruiser of 2003 tons, and was completed in 1898. She has a speed of 19 knots, and is armed with ten 4.1-in. and fourteen smaller guns.
