THE TARANAKI AWARDS. j At the meeting of the Taranaki Education Board yesterday, scholarships of the sums mentioned,. and giving free tuition at secondary schools, were awarded as follows: — Junior National Scholarships, of £lO per annum, tenable for three years.— Keith Reginald Thomas (West End); and Kenneth Charles Roberts (Inglewood), the latter with £3O boarding allowance. Junior Board Scholarships, of £5 per annum, tenable for two years. —Ronald Chas. Greiner (West End); Derek E. Denny-Brown (N.P.H.S.); Arthur Jas. Bannister (Stratford District High School); Henry Leslie Caldcr (Waitara), and £25 boarding allowance; Donald McAllister and Edith M Skoglund (Stratford District High School); Doreen Marjorie Watkins (West End); Jack Malcolm Hine (Toko); Richard J Thomas (Norfolk); Alfred Stephen. Kilsby (Tariki); Ivy Victoria Thcrkleson "(Tariki); Phoebe Anne Blanford (Whangamomona), the last-named with £•25 boarding.allowance. Senior lioard Scholarships, of £5 per annum, tenable for two years. —Donald G. D. Mackie (X.P.H.S.), and £25 boarding allowance; Henry A. Anderson (Stratford District Itigh School); Marjorie B.
