To the Editor. fir,—Tiding a visitor to this town, and one much travelled throughout the Dominion. T am much surprised at the little care paid to by-laws governing road traffic of this te<m Speed limits, if such are known here, are murderously ignored in the principal streets, 1)V motorists in particular To-day I was an eye-witness to an accident to a woman and child, who were knocked down by a ear in the main street, lint fortunately both escaped unhurt, thougli it. may easily have ended fatally. T think, Sir, in this town, witls snch a rapid growth of motor traflic, such bylaws as would minimise accidents '-Ik>nld be. rigidly enforced, as in the cities.— I am etc., VISITOR.
