LOCALISING THE EPIDEMIC. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night Typhoid fever is prevalent in the Taihape district. P.ecently three cases, wero reported to the local health authorities,. and during the past few days five fresh cases have been notified..All the patients are Europeans. So far one death ha* occurred. It is believed that the epidemic is spreading as . the result of some unaccountable delay in the notify cation of the original cases. The Health Department is faking active steps, to localise the epidemic. >
