THE MARRINAP MURDER.
♦__ A. FULL CONFESSION. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright, Perth, January 23. Cutay, alias Facheri, was committed for trial on a change of murdering a girl named Bell. Cutay in a written confession said, "I committ'ed a terrible crime to the dishonor of my nation, flag, country, and religion. I don't know why I did it. I beg you only to kill me as soon as possible. I am terribly sorry and I don't want no mercy, but full justice. Please ask no more questions, as I am unable to answer. Please kill me, kill me."
' A cable received on January 13 said that a girl named Bell, aged twelve years, who was sleeping on the verandah, was discovered with her head fatally shattered. A man employed by the victim's father is suspected. He has | disappeared apparently. No motive can be assigned for the murder. The missing man Facheri insulted Bell's younger sister on the night prior to the tragedy, whereupon the father dismissed him. The police state that the victim was choked and outraged before her head was battered in with the axe.
