Tlii> Summer meeting of the Wellington Racing Clnh concluded on Saturday at Trent ha m in beautiful weather. The course was rolled in the morning, and was in pood order, despite the continuous rain of the previous day. There was again a large attendance, and good racing was witnessed. The four-year-old filly Pavlova aclrcvcd the crowning honor of winning the Summer Handicap, and thus placing to her credit the principal race on each of the three days of the meeting. Emperador. who annexed the City Handicap, established a record for the course, covering the six furlongs in lmin. 12 4-f>scc. The investments on the totalisator amounted to £43 ; 10<5. as compared with .€37,880 on the corresponding day last year, while the total for the meeting was £124.02!). as against £100,330 at the 1014 gathering. The present total constitutes a record for the club. Results:—

Peg headed Chudic at the bend, but lost her ad van-' tage as the field closed up. Sauci showed the way into the straight, but was quickly displaced by Ogier. Pavlova put on plenty of pace in the straight, and won by three lengths from Ogier. who was two lengths ahead of Sauci. Time, lmin. 40 2-sscc.

FOXTON RACES. CONCLUDING DAY. Foxton, Last Night. The second day's races of the Foxton Club were held in fine weather. Manson, the rider of Martlet in tin; Newmarket Handicap, was the subject of an enquiry after the race, and was fined £lO for not riding his mount out. The sum of £II,OBB was passed through the machine, as against £12.513 on the same day last year. The totalisator handled £20,662 for the meeting, as against £27,063 in 1914. Results:— HACK HURDLES, of 100 sovs. One mile and a half.—Papador. 1; Master Strowan, 2; Vigilant, 3. Also started: Lady Strowan, Sarbonite, and Black Queen. Won easily. Black Queen and Sarbonite fell. Time, 2min. 53 4-ssec. TELEPHONE BACK HANDICAP, of 75 sovs. Five furlongs.—'Miss Kelly, 1; Improve, 2; The Diver, 3. Leapuki led into the straight, when Victoria and Ladify joined in a hard finish, Victoris winning by half a length, the same distance between second and third. C.
