BOMBS DROPPED IN DUNKIRK. THE INVADERS HUNTED AWiAV. Received 24, 5.5 p.m. Paris, January 23. Aeroplanes at Dunkirk dropped eighty bombs, "killing seven, and wounding a dozen. Aircraft pursued the invaders. ANOTHER ACCOUNT SUPPLIED A BRITISH SUCCESS. Received 25, 12.20 a.m. London, January 24. The Press Bureau reports that Squad-ron-Commander Davies and Flight-Lieut-enant Pierse on Friday dropped twentyseven bombs into Zeebrugge. It is believed that they damaged a submarine, and causeid many casualties among tho gun crews on the mole Davies had previously eluded seven surrounding German aeroplanes, and proceeded to iibrugge, although wounded in the thigh. Thirteen German aeroplanes bombed Dunkirk. A British aviator brought one down, and captured the occupants. One bomb smashed the windows and furniture of the Unite/d States Consulate.
