SOME YARANAKI COMPETITORS. The uL'nnia]_ fire brigades demonstration and pnnvail conference will be Jield at Timiru, Several Taranaki brigades have entered teams in the various events, which include ladder race, baby rescue, two-men coupling, three-men wet event, and five-men events. Tanner, .Jenkins, R. H. Kibby; emergency, F. Harvey. Delegate to* the conference, secretary R. H. Bellringer. Waitava.—Lieut. Murgatroyd. Firemen Canton, Spurdle, Limmer/and Redmond. Lieut. Aroa will represent the Fitzroy brigade at the Taranaki district conference at Kaponga. on the 29th inst.
