THE GROWERS' OPINIONS. RESTRICTIONS SHOULD BE REMOVED. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At a meeting of wheat growers held to-day under tl)e Auspices of the Farmers' Union, the following motion was carried: "That the Government be asked to remove the restrictions on the price of wheat as far as the farmers of New Zealand are concerned, this meeting considering that the Government has full control of the situation by having power to import wheat." THE KAIAPOI TO BE RELEASED. Received 20, 8,15 p.m. Sydney, January 20. Mr Cann having agreed to Mr Hughes' stipulation regarding the- Kaiapoi's wheat, the vessel will now be released.
